The Optima AUC uses ultra-high centrifugal forces to analyze proteins, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and complexes in solution. It measures sedimentation and diffusion in real time via absorbance and/or interference optics, providing molecular weight, shape, aggregation, heterogeneity, and interactions without labeling or immobilization.

Key Benefits:

  • Configurable with absorbance (UV-Vis) and/or interference optics for flexible detection

  • Measures sedimentation, diffusion, and molecular weight with high precision

  • Multi-wavelength absorbance: up to ~20 discrete wavelengths per experiment

  • Ultra-high speed and g-force: up to 60,000 RPM (~290,000 × g)

  • Precise temperature control: 4–40 °C for solution-sensitive samples
